Among the Adivasis Drags Intervention
This volume deals with the tribals of Maharashtra, the Katkaris and the Thakkars, amongst whom DRAG worked in the late eighties and early nineties of the last century. It describes what was involved in trying to mobilize them to demand their rights. It is one NGO's efforts, and the documentation by the DRAG staff of their work on the ground that provides several insights, particularly because criticisms of DRAG's approach to development, staff problems et al have been included.
