Higher education in India is all time low at present in terms of its quality and the functioning of the higher learning institutions is in shambles. Always higher education in India was and is far away from the poor as very limited seats were available in public institutions and now abundant seats are available but they are not unaffordable to the poor. As a result poor could not go nearer to higher education.
