This book deals with the propriety of the advisory jurisdiction conferred by article 143 of the constitution of India on the Honorable Supreme Court. It aims at evaluating the working of the system consultative jurisdiction in India and to record the impact it had on the process of constitutional development and also to study whether the institution has been successful in removing doubts relating to important constitutional provisions.
