Good governance in hospitals implies utmost concern for patients' welfare wherein the hospital authorities and its medical and health experts as well as other paramedical follow policies and discharge their duties with a deep sense of commitment. The ultimate responsibility for the overall performance of a country's hospitals is with government, which in turn should involve all sectors of society in its stewardship.
