Digest of Arbitration Conciliation Act 1996

The scope and ambit of this Act is followed from United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). Section 5 of the Act 1996 restricts the scope of judicial intervention as it provides that the Court shall not interfere in the arbitration proceedings and its intervention shall be permissible only to the extent provided under the Act 1996.
