Some Win Some Lose
This is the story of the vacissitudes of the lives and careers of four Indian Civil Servants, Ravi, Sunil, Shiv and Manjit who enter the service with great hopes and some amount of youthful idealism. All of them face the anguish of choice and pass through a variety of experience of loss and of satisfaction. All of them also have their tragic flaws and chequred destinies one is a prodigal another is fickle and unable to take the right decisions, the third dies of cancer and the fourth is given to excessive drinking though he survives by sheer worldly wisdom.
