This is an introduction to philosophy but with a difference. Throught the book metaphysical isue are shown to be rotted in the history of philosophy. At the same time the author`s treatment of each issue leads right into the contemporary situation. Philosophy can scaracely be defind, the author says, but philosophizing can `shown`.
