Tamas is the story of a sweeper called Nathu who is bribed and deceived by a Muslim politician to kill a pig. The following morning it was found at the steps of mosque. Terror strikes between Hindus, Sikhs and the Muslims. But they in turn kill the muslims in turn. This event depict one of the riots during partition.
