This book has been compiled in accordance to the new General Financial Rules 2005, with references to the Civil Accounts Manual, Government Accounting Rules 1990, Delegation of Financial Power Rules 1978, Receipts and Payment Rules 1983 and List of Major and Minor head of Account of Union and States. Also included are the provisions relating to the advances to Government Employees that has been excluded from the General Financial Rule 2005.
